AGA PUSH FOR ONLINE GAMING

Here is a piece of good news for online Poker players in the US. The American Gaming Association (AGA) has announced recently that it wants to advance the regulation of online poker and gambling this year. Frank K Fahrenkopf, Jr. President and CEO of AGA in a speech delivered last week said that the top gaming lobby in the US wants to advance efforts on the regulation front.

He said in his speech that the AGA is looking forward to work with regulators and operators in order to draft improvements which they all can agree on.

Public stance by AGA is also a positive development for those who are hoping for online poker and gaming regulation at the federal level in the US. Most of the top casinos in the United States is represented by AGA. A new section about regulatory reforms has been added to the website of AGA website. A press release in this regard has also been issued. It says that the new section will provide people one-stop solution for news and information related to AGA’s efforts to promote regulatory reform. The section will also provide resources, speeches and a glossary of terms which are relevant to the regulatory reform.
